The
Union / Employee Consultation Committee comprises representatives
of the Council’s management and employees (chosen by the
local Trade Union branches). The Chair and Vice-Chair positions
rotate annually between the Employer’s side and the
Employees’ side.
The
Committee’s objectives are to enable consultation and
negotiation between management and employees on employee relations,
working arrangements and terms and conditions.
Meetings of the Committee are scheduled quarterly.
