The
Licensing and Gambling Acts Sub Committee is a Sub Committee of the
Licensing and Gambling Acts Committee.
The
Sub Committee includes the full membership of the parent Committee.
The Sub-Committee deals with applications and reviews of licenses
that cannot be conducted by officers under delegated powers.
Meetings are scheduled monthly however they only sit when there is
business to be considered. There are normally very few meetings
each year.

Statement
of Licensing Policy
The
Council has recently reviewed its statement of licensing policy and
the revised policy will come into effect from the 1 February
2019.

Gambling
Act Statement of Principles
The
Gambling Act 2005 requires each local authority to publish
a Statement of Licensing
Principles outlining how the authority will deal with
applications. The Council’s current Statement came into
effect on 31 January 2019.
