The
purpose of the Employee Appeals Committee is to consider and
determine appeals against dismissals arising from employment
procedures (e.g disciplinary, capability, sickness absence, etc.),
with the exception of the Senior Management Team.
Meetings of the Committee are only scheduled when a hearing is
required and are therefore very infrequent. Due to the nature of
the matters under consideration that relates to private information
regarding individual employees, the vast majority of the meetings
will not be open to the public.
