Reason for urgency:
Renewing on GCloud 13 needs to be done by Mid-November, otherwise the contract will only be available on GCloud 14 at a higher cost. Going to procurement for an alternative supplier is not a viable option as it would require 18m-2 years planning and migration project. A contract review and possible tender is being looked at as a project from 2025.
To not renew would mean we no longer have a license to use the above IT solution. To delay renewal by one month would mean we will have an increased cost for the same solution, as the new GCloud 14 replaces the GCloud 13 solution.
These have been rejected because services rely on the solution and in order to renew at a reduced cost.
