This decision will be taken under urgency procedures.

Reason for urgency:
The prices for the vehicles are set by the Framework Contract subject to an annual increase as of the 1st March each year. Any orders placed prior to the 1st March 2023 will be charged at the 2022/23 prices. Orders placed on or after 1st March will be subject to the new prices. This will result in a 10% price increase of approximately £55,000.

To avoid this additional cost the decision to purchase needs to be made in the next 11 days. There is therefore no time to for this key decision to be published 28 days in advance of the decision being made in accordance with paragraph 4.2.16(1) of Part 4 of the Council’s Constitution.”
