Approval of a budget by Council is needed urgently to commence the procurement of a specialist supplier to undertake a 100% housing stock condition survey of the Council's Housing Revenue Account Dwelling Stock to ensure the Council can meet the Safety and Quality Consumer Standard and provide accurage information in relation to the Council's housing stock.

The Chair of the Customer Services Scruitny Committee has been informed of the decision to be taken and agrees that the decision is urgent and not subject to call-in.
