HNDU Feasiblity Study New!

Reason for urgency:
To accept the award of £139,000 from the Heat Network Distribution Unit (HNDU) to complete a feasibility study for heat networks made up of £75,000 for the feasibility study, to £16,000 for stakeholder engagement and £48,000 for project management. An urgent decision is required to allow the Council to contract with the supplier who will be completing the feasibility study.

The Chair of Climate Change and Communities Scrutiny Committee has been informed of the decision to be taken and agrees that the decision is urgent and not subject to call-in.
