To consider the minutes of the last meeting held on 21st December 2022. Minutes: Moved by Councillor Derek Adams and seconded by Councillor Nick Clarke RESOLVED that the Minutes of a Planning Committee meeting held on 21st December 2022 be approved as a correct record. |

Minutes: The Planning Manager advised the Committee that a request had been received from the applicant to defer this application to a future meeting of the Planning Committee.
There was currently some uncertainty regarding the Community Centre which was proposed on the site and further discussions needed to be undertaken between the applicant and the Parish Council. It was anticipated that revised plans may be submitted at a later date.
Moved by Councillor Derek Adams and seconded by Councillor Duncan McGregor RESOLVED that the application be deferred to a future meeting of the Planning Committee. |

Planning Appeal Decisions July 2022 - December 2022 PDF 420 KB Minutes: The Planning Manager presented the 6 month update in relation to planning appeals.
Since the last update there had been no appeals on major planning applications and three appeal decisions on non-major applications. Of these, two appeals had been allowed and one had been dismissed.
The Planning Manager gave a breakdown of the three applications that had been appealed and the conclusions received from the Inspector which was detailed within the report.
It was noted that appendix 3 to the report had an incorrect address and should have read Portland Avenue opposed to Shuttlewood Road.
Moved by Councillor Duncan McGregor and seconded by Councillor Nick Clarke RESOLVED that:
(1) the 6 monthly report be noted; and (2) the Planning Department continue to report appeal decisions to the planning Committee every 6 months.
