To consider the minutes of the General Licensing Sub Committee meeting held on 28th July 2021. Minutes: Moved by Councillor Ray Heffer and seconded by Councillor Andrew Joesbury.
RESOLVED that the minutes of a meeting of the General Licensing Sub Committee held on 28th July 2021 be approved as a true and correct record.

“That the public be excluded from the meeting during the discussion of the following items of business to avoid the disclosure to them of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1, Part I of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended by the Local Government (Access to Information) (Variation) Order 2006)”. Minutes: Moved by Councillor Ray Heffer and seconded by Councillor Andrew Joesbury.

To consider an application for a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Vehicle Driver Minutes: The applicant attended the meeting for Committee to determine whether or not to grant an application for a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Vehicle Driver’s Licence.
The Licensing and Enforcement Officer presented the report.
The Taxi Applicant Hearing Procedure was followed.
The applicant, the Environmental Health Team Manager – Licensing, the Licensing and Enforcement Officer and Councillor Deborah Watson left the meeting whilst the Committee deliberated and returned for the announcement of the decision.
Moved by Councillor Andrew Joesbury and seconded by Councillor Maxine Dixon.
RESOLVED that the Sub Committee –
1. Rejects the application on the grounds of: · The applicant’s lack of account and dishonesty.
